Within your position you will be responsible for an exciting variety of work, throughout the country, in line with:

Producing accurate sales drawings and flow sheets to a high standard and within a strict deadline, in keeping with the client's expectations.

• Producing accurate site layout arrangement drawings, including Civils information, suitable for use by others so as to produce detailed manufacture drawings.
• Compile snagging lists, produce drawings and ensure that site Engineers have the correct materials.
• Assist where necessary in the day to day running of projects including site liaison and progress chasing.
• Identify process plant / site construction improvement / development opportunities, then document and implement on future plants.
• Collate warranty claims throughout plant build; document and process.
• Be responsible for small projects as required by office workload.
• Deliver small projects to a high standard to the satisfaction of the customer and Engineering Manager within an agreed time scale and budget.
• Management reporting on a monthly basis detailing progress and highlighting any issues.

Permanent position

Full time hours: 8.30 to 5.00pm + as and when business requires

Graduate Junior Project Engineer

DUO (Europe) plc and its associated Companies: Powerscreen Washing Systems Ltd., (Est. 1985), Mineral Improvements Ltd., Powerscreen Hire Ltd and LJH Group Ltd., are recognised as the No.1 supplier to the aggregate processing industry of specialist washing equipment, water treatment, plant hire, contract processing, bespoke plant design, fabrication and related services.  
 
With continuous growth in the marketplace, we are now looking for a Candidate with an Automotive/Mechanical Engineering degree (at least 2:2) to work as below, within the Engineering Department alongside the Department Manager, Draftsman and Buyer. 

• Working with the Engineering Manager to produce accurate sales drawings / flow sheets to a high standard and to strict deadlines in keeping with the client's expectations.
• Working with the Engineering Manager to produce accurate site layout arrangement drawings, including Civils information suitable for use by others, so as to produce detailed manufacture drawings with the view to becoming proficient in the production of detailed drawings.
• Working with the Engineering Manager and Buyer to produce order scheduling lists for live Projects
• Working with the Engineering Manager and Buyer to procure site plant and equipment to the agreed project program.
• Working with the Engineering Manager and liaising with site Engineers to agree dates for project implementation and produce project programs.
• Working with the Engineering Manager to monitor project costings, labour, and tracking orders placed against agreed budgets.
• Update Engineering Department Budget on a monthly basis.
• Assist where necessary in the day to day running of the Engineering office and projects including site liaison and progress chasing.
• Visiting site installations regularly and liaising with site engineers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in AutoCAD, although further training will be given.  Immediate start date available. 

Salary in the region of £21k

Due to continued success within the UK and worldwide, we now wish to build the service team further through the recruitment of highly skilled personnel.  Your profile should read as:- An experienced Plant Engineer - used to a" working away from home" environment.  A high level of initiative/communication is expected along with the ability to manage your own time, as well as a team of technicians/sub-contractors for large projects and small works installations.  Your position will be responsible for an exciting variety of work throughout the UK in line with: 

Installation of Washing and Water Treatment Plants to include:

• Current Health and Safety Legislation            
• Assimilation of technical information
• Co-ordination of work on Site
• Site management of sub-contractors
• Repair and maintenance of machinery on Site
• Requesting spares
• Liaise with Service Department to resolve operational/technical issues
• Writing of reports and record sheets
• Applying safety rules/good practice at all times.

You will find strong communication and teamwork skills will assist you in this rewarding position.  Training will be given where necessary on our range of products which will include:  Full Washing Plants; Static/Mobile Crushing and Screening equipment; Water Management Systems; Plate Presses, recycling equipment, etc.

Must be in possession of a Quarry Passport, and an advantage would be to have tickets in Cherry Picker; Tele Handler; Slinger Banksman and Certificate of Appointed Person re. Instruction of Cranes on Site, also welder and or hydraulics/electrics experience if possible.

Any further experience in water treatment/management, pumps, flows would be advantageous.

Ideally with knowledge of heavy plant, water treatment, flows and hydraulics, you will enhance our parts and service division with responsibilities such as:

• Contacting both new and current customers regarding ordering of parts and spares
• Contacting both new and current customers regarding booking of service calls for their equipment
• Commissioning of new equipment/EU Declaration of Conformity
• Liaising with Stores Department in Alfreton regarding stock holding of essential spares and regularity of such
• Responsible for addressing technical queries from customers and ensuring satisfaction
• Liaising with suppliers to source best price, quantity, frequency and delivery time
  IT literate
• Producing quotations for customer enquires, ordering despatch of spares
• Administration and development of warranty claims in a timely manner
• Develop service, repair and maintenance database
• Liaising with OEM's and co-ordination of supplier information
• Develop customer service enhancements, i.e. maintenance contracts, etc
  Develop ‘bring forward' system

To succeed in this role you will need:

• Effective time management - with a methodical approach
• Planning skills and the ability to meet goals
• Clear and effective communication skills

This position will be office based - Allesley, Coventry.
You will be working within a team discipline but with sole responsibilities for your own position.

Salary will be commensurate with the importance of this position
